It appears I have been far too long away from my blog. Big Brother Mike came to visit me recently and rightly so, chided me for ignoring my blog for so long. Well, Mike, now the ball's in your court!
So yes, I still have those itchy feet. And I'm about to give them a big scratch. Returning to this side of the country was supposed to be for a short visit. That was 15 months ago and while I have enjoyed catching up with family and seeing some more of the sights on the east coast, it is finally time to head back west. Been resting up in north Georgia on top of Lookout Mountain since Thanksgiving, and it's been fun. Now that the Georgia mountains are bursting with spring color so is my head. Allergies and sinus attacks caused by the pollen are not compatible with my asthma weakened lungs. Definitely time to head back west where the air is dry and a lot easier on my breathing.
Aside from dry western air I'm looking forward to at least partially following the path of the Corps of Discovery, finding some interesting geocaches along the way (hope to hit 7,000 finds very soon), going to a real western rodeo, and meeting lots of new and interesting people. Oh, and try to do a better job of keeping up on my blog.
