Welcome to my new home

After a 3 month hiatus from blogging I'm back with lots of news.  First, of course, is this new blog address.  For various reasons I've left my old blogsite and opened up shop here.  I will try to blog more often, but I'm afraid you'll be reading more about birds than travel for a while.
Here's ACE parked in my home at Bosque

More news is my new home. Brand new to me and the world.  It's a 2015 Thor Ace Evo.  Thirty feet and 10
inches of what feels like pure luxury.

And for the first time in 3 and a half years I have a real bed.
I confess to spending long evenings piled up in my new bed with a good movie on the TV and large cup of ginger tea.

Of course the front living area is very nice with a roomy kitchen and seating area for entertaining.

That's about it for new stuff.  Otherwise my life is back to a similar routine.  I'm back at Bosque del Apache for the Sand Hill Crane season along with several of the same volunteers I worked with last season.  So far no cranes have shown up, but soon, I'm sure, very soon.
